Description

This 1979 Ford Bronco is said to have been partially refurbished under previous ownership and was acquired by the seller and his business partner out of Texas in 2020. Subsequent work included refinishing the hardtop in white, refreshing the interior, replacing steering and suspension components, and installing new wheels and tires. The truck is finished in red and white over red vinyl and powered by a 400ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Equipment includes a rear tire carrier, trailer hitch, Retrosound stereo, and air conditioning. This Bronco is offered in North Carolina with a build record and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller's business partner.

The truck was reportedly stripped and refinished in Candyapple Red and Wimbledon White under previous ownership. Features include a white hardtop with tinted windows, chrome bumpers, a trailer hitch, and XLT badges. The grille, headlight bezels, bumpers, and windshield as well as the weather stripping and tailgate wiring were replaced under current ownership.

Polished 15″ Ultra wheels wear 35″x12.5″ Cooper STT Pro tires. A spare protected by a white vinyl cover is mounted to a swing-out rear carrier. The truck is equipped with Mile Marker manually-locking front hubs and 4" lift. The ball joints, U-joints, hubs, seals, and master cylinder have reportedly been replaced under current ownership, and a RedHead steering box is said to have been installed.

The front bucket and rear bench seats have been reupholstered in red vinyl with “chainmail” inserts, and the color-matched carpets, glovebox door, paneling, and dash pad have been replaced. Equipment includes a Retrosound stereo, aftermarket speakers, and air conditioning, which was serviced in November 2020.

The two-spoke steering wheel with cruise control buttons frames an 85-mph speedometer flanked by auxiliary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 60k miles, 500 of which have been added under current ownership.
The 400ci V8 was reportedly refurbished under previous ownership and modified with a performance camshaft. A chrome air cleaner lid and valve covers are fitted, and the radiator shroud has been replaced.

Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case.
